"Mary!" Lucy shook her sister to wake her up in the early morning. Mary rolled over in her bed, but she didn't wake up. "Mary!" Lucy shook her again. "What's wrong, Lucy?" asked Mary, sitting straight up in the bed.

When Mary joined Lucy in the kitchen, Lucy was preparing what she needed for breakfast. "Mary, I need your help. I can't break eggs without getting the shells (壳) in the bowl. Can you do it well?"
"Sure. I can show you how to do it. You just have to give an egg a good crack on the side of the bowl. If you do like this, the shell won't crack into small pieces," said Mary.
"I'll try it," said Lucy. Then Lucy successfully cracked an egg into the bowl. "I did it!" she shouted.
"Shhh!" said Mary.
"Oops," said Lucy. "Grandma is still sleeping now."
The rest of their preparations went well. Mary made pancakes while Lucy scrambled the eggs and poured fresh orange juice into a glass carefully. Finally, Lucy picked a flower in the garden and added it to Grandma's plate.
"This will be the best birthday breakfast Grandma has ever had!" said Lucy.
