阅读短文,完成任务。
Whenever she had free time, Mia loved taking a walk around town. She'd go to the little alleyway (小巷) of shops to see all the colourful clothes. Then she'd go to the food street to take in the yummy smells. But to get to the food street, she had to walk through a long and boring street.
That day, as she was walking along the boring part, she saw a boy walking with a cane. He was using it to feel for the bumps (凸起) on the road. He was blind. Then, he suddenly stopped.
"Hey, are you OK? Do you need any help?" Mia asked. The boy, called Max, turned around to face her and said, "I'm fine, thanks, just admiring (欣赏) my favourite place." "Your favourite place? This is my least favourite place. It's dark and has high walls with no shops," said Mia. "I like it because the bumps on the road are clearly paved (铺好的) and the sound of the trees blowing here is always so loud," said Max with a smile.
Mia realised that she was judging (评判) the place by what she saw, but Max was judging it by how it felt and sounded. It showed Mia that if you try hard enough, you can find beauty in everything.
