Home is not just a building. It's a place full of love, warmth, and sweet memories. My home is a two - floor house on a peaceful street.
The moment I step into my home, I feel a sense of comfort. The living room is filled with soft cushions (靠垫) on the sofa and a bookshelf full of interesting books. At weekends, my family and I often sit here, enjoying each other's company (陪伴) while watching TV or just chatting.
The kitchen is another special part of our home. My mum spends a lot of time there, cooking delicious meals for us. The smell of freshly - made cookies or a warm bowl of soup always makes my mouth water. Every evening, we sit around the dining table, sharing the events of our day, laughing and sometimes arguing (争论) a little. These moments at the table are some of the most precious (珍贵的) memories in my life.
My bedroom is my own little space. It's decorated (装饰) with posters of my favourite bands and photos of my friends. I spend hours here, doing my homework, reading books, or just daydreaming.
Home is also where we celebrate (庆祝) special festivals. During holidays like the Spring Festival or birthdays, the house is filled with decorations and the sounds of joy. All our relatives come over, and we tell jokes and have a good laugh together.
