Join Our Chinese Food Cooking Class
Do you like Chinese food? Do you want to cook it by yourself? Fengyang Neighbourhood Centre will have a Chinese food cooking class this winter vacation. It will be in Room 303, 9:00 a.m.—11:30 a.m. every day, from 18 January to 23 January.
Here are some of easy Chinese recipes.
| | Luoyang Beef Soup• Ingredients:500 g beef, 1 onion, 1 carrot, ginger (姜), some salt.• Instructions:Clean and cut the beef, onion, and carrot; put them along with ginger in a pot with water. Cook for 30 minutes. Then add salt and cook for 10 minutes more. You can also add Yuzhou fentiao and green onions for a different taste. |
| | Zhengzhou Huimian• Ingredients:300 g mutton, 200 g noodles, ginger, some salt and green onions.• Instructions:Cut the mutton into slices, and then cook them with water and ginger to make soup. Add salt when the mutton is soft. Cook the noodles and put them in a bowl. Finally, pour the soup over the noodles and add green onions on the top. |

| 续表 | Mapo Tofu• Ingredients:300 g tofu, 100 g minced meat (肉末), a little pepper and 1 spoon of Huaxian bean paste (豆瓣酱).• Instructions:Cook the minced meat with the paste for 5 minutes, and then add the tofu and pepper. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Serve with rice.Remember, Huaxian bean paste is necessary if you want to make the dish special. |
