五、阅读理解。
Wei Chunrong is a leading actress of Kunqu Opera, one of the oldest traditional Chinese operas with a history of over 600 years. Born in Kunshan, Suzhou, Kunqu Opera is known for smooth body movements, beautiful singing and amazing costumes.
Wei started to learn the ancient art form when she was young and has worked hard in this field for over forty years. Her talent and hard work finally paid off when Kunqu Opera was listed as one of the intangible cultural heritages.

Like many traditional Chinese operas, Kunqu Opera faced challenges of new forms of entertainment during the 1990s. Fewer and fewer people watched it. Many Kunqu Opera actors were forced to leave the stage (舞台) and work in other fields, such as acting in movies, TV dramas, singing and even running their own businesses. But Wei's love for Kunqu Opera has never changed. " ▲," she says.
