The Dragon Boat Festival is a traditional Chinese festival we Chinese 1have celebrated(celebrate) for over 2,000 years. It's one of the three most important lunar festivals in China, along with the Spring Festival and the Mid-Autumn Festival. The Dragon Boat Festival takes place on the 2fifth(five) day of the fifth lunar month.
Throughout the years, many stories have been told about the 3beginning(begin) of this festival. Among them, 4the most famous(famous) one is about Qu Yuan, a well-known scholar from Chu State in Warring States Period.
