①Cloze test. 人与社会 历史、社会与文化
I just had my first Mid-Autumn Festival celebration in China. Exactly a week after arriving in China, I was kind of homesick. Memories of past 1 back in Serbia(塞尔维亚) always appeared in my mind. On the morning of Friday 13th September, almost everyone in the school was very 2. Chinese students explained to us the importance of the festival and 3 the folk tales(民间故事) with us happily. At lunchtime, mooncakes were 4. Then came the night. The full moon appeared: a huge bright ball high in the sky. We all looked at it with 5. With Serbian music playing on my headphones, I danced my way and forgot myself for a(n) 6.
As I went back into my room, my curious mind 7 me online. There I came across the poem Prelude to Water Melody(水调歌头), written by the well-known Chinese writer Su Dongpo. This poem concisely described what he was 8. Writing to his family, Su 9 what time it was back at home. I was also trying to find out what time it was back at home. In the end, Su asked his family to join him in 10 the moon on a clear night. What a way to finish! I hoped that my family were watching the 11 moon with me at the same time.
And while we may go away from home, the 12 are still the most important to our life. As the 13 use the Mid-Autumn Festival to gather with the loved ones, the Serbian community also get together, share a meal and walk on the streets under the neon lights(霓虹灯).
Thank my Chinese friends, whose care made me and other foreign students experience a(n) 14 Mid-Autumn Festival. Thank my Chinese friends, whose 15 made me and other foreign students feel like we were at home.
