Compared with the other photos, I would like to choose the one that was taken at about 6:00 pm on a beach in my home town, a coastal city in southeast China. I named it "A Colourful Beach".
In the photo, you can see many colourful things on the beach which aren't beautiful shells or other living things from the sea, but empty bottles, plastic bags and other waste.
My friends and I went there to enjoy the beautiful sea and relax ourselves. There were hundreds of visitors. However, some of them didn't take away the waste when they left there. I took the photo and sent it to take part in this competition to remind people of the serious problem and the importance of protecting the environment.
