Winter, the dolphin, tried her best to get rid of the rope around her body. If she could not break free, she'd die. The dolphin was saved, but her tail was lost. Scientists had an idea: the first man-made dolphin tail! It took Winter some time to get used to it. But after a few months of training, Winter accepted the tail, and her back started to recover.
No Elephant Ride
Cambodia(柬埔寨) announced that it would ban(禁止)elephant rides at Angkor Wat(吴哥窟). “The elephant is a big animal, but it is also gentle. We don't want to see the animals being used for tourism activities anymore,” said Long Kosal, an officer. “They belong to forests. We want them to live in their natural surroundings.”

The Northeast China Tiger and Leopard National Park was announced as one of China's first national parks. It is the historical home to Siberian tigers(东北虎) and Amur leopards(东北豹) in China. Thanks to this park, the number of wild Siberian tigers in this national park has increased from 27 to 50, while that of Amur leopards has increased from 42 to 60, with more than 10 tiger cubs(幼崽) and 7 leopard cubs.
