Su Bingtian's story teaches us that knowing ourselves, improving ourselves, and finally surpassing ourselves is a valuable process. I have my own experience too.
I used to be weak in English, especially speaking. I was afraid to talk with others in English. One day, my English teacher told me, "You need to face your weakness and try to overcome it." This made me realize I should know myself first.
Then I started to improve. Every morning, I read English aloud for 30 minutes. I also joined an English corner to practice speaking. At first, I was nervous, but I kept trying. I asked my teacher and classmates for help when I had problems.
After three months, I made great progress. I could talk with foreigners in simple English. In the last English exam, I got an A. I felt very happy.
Now I understand that knowing ourselves helps us find the right direction. Improving ourselves with hard work makes us better. And finally, we can surpass ourselves. I will keep this in mind and keep moving forward.
