The Cactus and the Butterfly
In a hot desert(沙漠), there lived a tall cactus(仙人掌). It kept all its water deep inside. “This water is mine alone,” it said.
One day, a thirsty butterfly flew to the cactus. “Please, may I have a drop of water? I haven’t drunk for days.”
“No!” shouted the cactus. “Go away!” The butterfly left sadly.

The butterfly called friends. Together, they carried water to the wounded cactus. Slowly, the cactus grew healthy again. From then on, it opened its body and shared water freely. Soon, the desert around it turned green with life.
