Dear Mr Smith,
I am a Chinese student and I hope to be one of your volunteers of World Animal Protection (世界动物保护协会). Today, I’d like to introduce the Tibetan antelope (藏羚羊) to you.
It is well - known that there are some rare (罕见的) wild animals that are our good friends. The Tibetan antelope is one of them. It is a very lovely animal. It is good for both human beings and the balance of nature. Unfortunately, people kill about 20,000 Tibetan antelopes every year. What should we do to protect Tibetan antelopes?
Firstly, I think we should set up more nature reserves (保护区) to protect the Tibetan antelopes’ habitat (栖息地).
Secondly, the government must make laws to stop people from killing Tibetan antelopes.
Thirdly, encourage more volunteers to make a contribution (贡献) to protecting Tibetan antelopes.
Please remember: Animals are our friends. Stop hunting, killing and destroying wildlife. I am looking forward to your reply.
Yours,
Li Hua
