Today birdwatching is a popular hobby in countries across the world. There are a lot of birdwatchers and birdwatching clubs in almost every country.
The hobby of birdwatching came from the UK in the 1800s. During that time, Thomas Bewick wrote the book A History of British Birds. It soon became popular with early birdwatchers.
Birdwatching is a great activity for people to stay away from noisy cities and relax after a week's hard work.
How should we prepare when we go birdwatching? Here are some tips!
First, prepare equipment(装备). Anything that helps see far away will work, like a pair of telescopes(望远镜). A camera and a field guide are also useful.
Second, go at the right time. A lot of birds get up in the early hours of the morning as soon as the sun comes out.
Third, keep quiet. Loud talking or laughing can make birds fly away.
