六、阅读与回答问题
(原创题)Many history fans might be curious about the areas not open to the public while visiting a museum. Such regret(遗憾) could be made up in the TV show The City of Museums(《博物馆之城》). The reality show is hosted by Shan Jixiang, former director of the Palace Museum.
The show has gone into the mysterious places of eight landmark(地标) museums in Beijing. The rules for the production of every episode are:to get into the areas that haven't been open to the public,to shoot the yet-to-display national treasure artifacts, and to introduce the latest technological facilities(技术装备) in the museums.
Besides, the show also tries to discover the little-known stories of the exhibits in each museum. For example,a giant panda specimen in the National Zoological Museum of China was found to have a legendary past.
The panda, born in 1986,is the world's first male panda able to mate naturally in captivity(圈养). The show also invited an experienced zookeeper who had once taken care of the panda for many years to the museum to share his memories of the past.
"I always believe that a good museum is not defined(定义) by how grand its houses are and how rich its collections are,but by if it could make people take it as part of their life and often visit it," said Shan. He added that he wishes the TV show could continue to produce more seasons to attract more visitors to the museums in Beijing.
