2. My Summer Holiday
This summer holiday, I went to Beijing. I went there by train. It was a long - distance journey, but I was excited.
In Beijing, I visited the Great Wall. It was really magnificent. I walked on the ancient wall and felt the great wisdom of ancient people. Then I visited the Forbidden City. The buildings there were so grand and beautiful. I also ate Beijing Roast Duck. It was very delicious.
Overall, I had a very happy summer holiday in Beijing. I learned a lot about Chinese history and culture, and I also enjoyed the beautiful scenery and delicious food.
