Step 3. Please choose a traditional food from the above passage and introduce its preparation method.
Here is one way to make pork zongzi.
Ingredients:
500 grams of glutinous rice, 200 grams of pork (preferably with some fat), 10 to 15 zongzi leaves, some strings, some salt, light soy sauce, cooking wine, and white sugar
Instructions:
First, wash the glutinous rice carefully and put it in a basin. Add enough water to soak the rice for about 3 to 4 hours. Then, cut the pork into small cubes. Put them in a bowl and add a little salt, some light soy sauce, a bit of cooking wine, and a small spoonful of white sugar. Mix them well and let the pork stay for about half an hour so that it can absorb all the flavours. Next, put the zongzi leaves in warm water and soak them for 2 to 3 hours. After soaking, wash the leaves one by one and cut off the hard parts at the ends. After all the things are ready, fold the zongzi leaves to make a cone. Then, put a small amount of glutinous rice into the cone you made. Next, put a piece of pork on top of the rice. After that, add some more glutinous rice to fill the cone and then fold the leaf and use a string to tie the zongzi. Finally, boil the zongzi in hot water. After cooking for about half an hour, scoop out the zongzi and then enjoy it.
