One day, a little mouse was thirsty. She looked for water everywhere. She climbed up onto a table and saw a bottle on the table. She smiled, “Ha, there’s some milk in it. That’s great!” The mouth of the bottle was big. She went into it and began to drink.
She drank and drank. Soon her stomach(胃) was too big and she couldn’t come out of the bottle. She cried for help. Just then a cat came up to the bottle. When the cat heard the cry, he jumped onto the table and said, “You’ll be my nice lunch. ” The mouse was very clever and said, “Dear Cat, you mustn’t roll(滚动) the bottle. ” “Why?” asked the cat. “I’ll get dizzy(头晕目眩的),” said the mouse. The cat said, “That’s good. I’ll roll the bottle and make you die soon. ” He began to roll the bottle. Suddenly, the bottle fell down to the floor and broke. The mouse ran away.
The cat jumped off the table and ran after her, but the mouse ran into her home quickly.
