“What's the weather like?” I ask Mum in the morning.
“It's sunny and warm, Lucy,” My mother answers.
“Great! Can I go to the park with my new friends?” I ask Mum.
“OK! Have fun,” Mum says to me.
My new friend Du Juan is from China. We are in the same school, but not in the same class.
After half an hour I get to the park by bike. Du Juan is waiting for me there. She takes some juice and food. I bring some bananas because they are my favourite fruit. There is a hill in the park. We go up the hill. Then we sit down to have lunch.
We also take photos there. At about 2 p.m., it is windy and cold.
“Look! I'm afraid we have to go home,” I say to her.
“Yes, I think so,” Du Juan says. Then we leave the park.
We have a good time today.
