Many kinds of after - school activities have made my middle school life colorful, meaningful and educational. Among them, I think the most meaningful one is that I organized a volunteer activity to help the students in a mountainous area. All the other students in my class joined me. We gave away many school things like books, notebooks, and pens. We visited them during the summer vacation and we talked to each other. We exchanged ideas about how to improve learning skills. They wrote to us or called us whenever they had difficulty in their studies or in their lives. We tried our best to help them. We weren't paid, but we were happy. We know that someone is happy because of us. As a group leader, I learned that alone we can do so little, together we can do so much. I have made up my mind that I will never stop doing little things for others because those little things make a big difference to them.
