Our class shared four different holiday plans.
Anna will visit her grandparents in the countryside. Every morning she will help them pick apples in the orchard. She also plans to feed the chickens and collect fresh eggs. In the afternoons, Anna will learn to bake apple pies from her grandmother. She feels excited to taste warm pie straight from the oven.
Ben hopes to spend his holiday by the seaside with his family. He will build tall sandcastles on the beach and decorate them with shells. Ben plans to swim out to the small buoys (浮标) and back each day to practise his swimming skills. In the evenings, he will watch the sunset with his sister and collect pretty shells.
Clara dreams of learning to play the guitar. She will watch online lessons each morning and practise three new chords (和弦) for thirty minutes. After lunch, Clara will write a short song about sunshine and friends. In the evenings, she will play her new song for her parents and ask for their opinions.
David plans to read four new books, a mystery, a science-fiction novel, a biography, and a poetry collection. Each afternoon he will sit under the big oak tree in the park and read for two hours. On rainy days, David will write a short summary of each chapter in his notebook.
I will rest and relax at home. I plan to watch films, draw cartoons, and call friends each evening. We all have different plans, but we will learn new things and enjoy our holidays.
