I like music because I think listening to or playing music is really relaxing.
One day,I went to my parents’ house to visit them. While my mother was cooking some food in the kitchen,my father and I were waiting. Later I went into my father’s room with him and he took out his guitar and started playing a slow song. Then I took out a violin and started playing along with him. Slowly,I became lost in the music. My father and I played like that for about 15 minutes. And when I turned around,my mother was standing there listening. I didn’t even realise she was there while I was playing. That was one of the few times that I was “truly” lost in the music. The funniest thing when I played with my father was that I wasn’t good at the violin. I was new at the instrument,but it was a slow song and my ability(能力) didn’t matter. That is what music is all about.
Now many people are too focused on being good at their instrument,or making lots of money with it,but not focused on the music itself. Although my job is playing the piano,I never really want to use it to make money. I play because it brings me great happiness(幸福),and I love everything about it.
