My New Life in Junior High
My name is Lucy. I am a new student at Sunshine Junior High School. The school’s teaching building is tall and modern. There is a big lab for science classes and a bright dining hall next to the playground. I like the grey uniform here,but I sometimes miss my primary school’s colorful clothes.
In primary school,we only studied basic subjects. Now,we have new subjects：history,geography,and biology. These new subjects are different and a bit challenging. Last week,I felt nervous during my first biology class because I didn’t understand the textbook well.
My hobby is photography. I enjoy taking photos of nature and sharing them on social media. Through this activity,I meet Lily,a classmate who loves playing volleyball and skating. We become friends quickly. She teaches me how to skate,and it is so much fun!
In the future,I hope to join the school’s photography club. I will practise more and learn new skills.
Though I still feel a bit lonely sometimes,I believe my new adventure here will bring me joy and knowledge. I am ready to face challenges and make more friends!
