The way of studying
We have learned seven types of learners in this unit. Some students like to use pictures and images, and some like to study alone. As for me, I prefer to study through writing and reading.
First, I like writing and reading. I learn a lot from the books. Have you heard of the saying “Reading is to the mind what exercise is to the body”? Second, I improve my mind while writing. When I write, I organise my thoughts clearly and become more creative. Last but not least, reading helps me gradually develop good learning habits.
In my opinion, writing and reading is really a good way and it will benefit me a lot in my life.

My favourite kind of English homework is acting out a play. It can help improve my language skills and make me confident.
When I was in Grade 8, my teacher asked us to act out the play Romeo and Juliet in a group of six. It was a big challenge. First, I read the play with my group members and we shared our understanding of the play. Then, we chose our roles and practiced the lines a lot. My spoken English has improved. In the end, we put on a great show and won praise.
Now I'm interested in acting and feel brave enough to show myself in front of the public. I feel happy to do such kind of English homework.
