We're Watching You is a simple but wonderful idea: put a tiny camera on the TV sets in several family homes to 1B them, and then make it into a TV program. And that's all it is, a TV program that 2C us: real people watching real TV. Exciting? Not really. But it is really 3A.
Of course, all the people on the show agree to the camera being on their TV but they soon 4D it and then the problems start.
There is the Collins family. Mike, the father, can never find the remote control, and often 5B his kids, Joe and Lucy, to find it. In fact, as his wife Anna says, quite often, he 6D it himself as he usually sits on it. Anna only wants to watch sports, but Mike wants cooking programs. Joe wants cartoons and Lucy wants a quiet house 7C TV. Usually, nobody gets 8A they want.
And then there's the Lawson family. They sit down together and watch a film every Saturday night. It always starts well but soon 9D come. Grandpa John can't 10B very well. He always wants to turn the volume up(开大音量). This makes his daughter, Georgia, upset 11D she hates the loud noise. So Grandpa turns it down, but then he asks his grandson, Paul, to tell 12A what the people on TV are saying. This makes Paul a little 13B. And then his mum often walks in front of the TV into the kitchen to get him a cup of tea. Poor Paul! He doesn't want a cup of tea. He 14A wants to watch the film.
We're Watching You is fun to watch but I'm glad these 15D aren't in my home!
