四、阅读理解
Last October, I went to Murmansk, Russia, for a Northern Lights-hunting tour with my parents. The Northern Lights(北极光) are bands of coloured light.
We flew from Moscow to Murmansk. Our guide asked us to stay in Murmansk for a few days to wait for the best weather. He checked the weather report and decided that we would start the hunting on the second evening.
On the day of the tour, our guide picked us up from the hotel at about 9 p. m. We travelled more than one hundred kilometres from Murmansk to find a clear sky. We then found a good parking place and waited for the Northern Lights.
When we were waiting, our guide sent us hot tea and biscuits to keep us warm. Suddenly, the Northern Lights appeared(出现). I made a wish at once and our guide helped us take some pictures. We were very lucky. The green and red light lasted for nearly 30 minutes.
The weather was cold, but I would remember the enjoyable the Northern Lights hunting tour.
