七、阅读短文,回答问题
Elephants are the largest land mammals (哺乳动物) on earth, and they are known for their intelligence (智力) and social behaviours (行为). There are three kinds of elephants: the African bush elephant, the African forest elephant, and the Asian elephant. They are found in different parts of Africa and Asia.
Elephants have a matriarchal (母系的) social structure, where older females lead the family groups. A single group can have up to 70 elephants. They talk with each other using different sounds and body language.
Elephants have great memories, which helps them find their way and remember where to find water. Elephants eat lots of plants like grass, leaves, and fruit, about 300 pounds a day. Their long trunk (象鼻) helps them eat, drink, carry things, and interact with others.
Unluckily, elephants face many problems. They are in danger because of losing their homes and people's hunting for their tusks (长牙). We need to work hard to keep them safe and creat a better environment for them.
1. What are the three species of elephants mentioned in the passage?______
2. How do elephants talk with each other?______
3. What is the daily diet of elephants?______
4. What does the elephant's trunk help them do?______
5. Why are elephants considered to be in danger?
