The Indian rhino is a big and strong animal. It lives in grasslands and loves to eat plants. Many tourists visit parks to see these amazing animals. But sadly, the number of Indian rhinos drops quickly these years. There are many reasons for this.
One serious problem is hunting. People want the rhino's horn, even if it means killing the animal. Another reason is that rhinos lose their homes when people take land for farms and towns. Some rhinos also die from illness, as they have less space and less clean water.
But there is hope. Thanks to hard work from animal groups and parks, people are starting to take action. They protect the land and stop hunters. They also help sick rhinos and take care of baby rhinos.
If we all help, maybe one day, the rhinos' numbers will grow again, and they will run free across the land.
