Nancy's mother often wrote books on the computer. It worked very well. There was only one problem—it was boring for Nancy.
The computer was grey. It was not beautiful at all. Nancy didn't like ugly(丑的) things. So she wanted to make her mother's computer beautiful. "Mum is going to love it," she said to herself.

"Nice!" said Nancy. "What's next?" It only took her a moment to get the answer. "Hats!" Nancy's mum liked to wear hats and Nancy was good at drawing hats. She drew different kinds of hats all over Mum's computer. She believed the purple computer with a lot of stars and hats was the most beautiful.
"Nancy, what are you doing with my computer?"
"Look, Mum! I made it beautiful. Do you love it?" Nancy asked happily.
Nancy's mum couldn't believe her eyes. She took a deep breath for a moment and asked patiently(耐心地), "Can you tell me why you do so?"
"I want you to be happier to work with this beautiful computer." "Thank you. I love it very much," Mum said and smiled.
