M: Niccolo Paganini.

W: I once heard of him. But where was he from?

M: He was from Italy. He was one of the greatest musicians in the world.

W: Did he learn to play the violin at a very young age?

M: Yes. That's true. When he was young, he showed great interest in music. He learnt to play the violin at the age of seven. He composed his first piece of music one year later. He had a gift for music.

W: I see.

I look up to American inventor Thomas Edison. He is my favourite hero. He had 1,093 inventions during his lifetime. He was born on February 11, 1847 in the US. When he was young, he was always trying out new ideas and asking some strange questions. After he was in school for only three months, he dropped out. His mother taught him to read and write at home. Edison learned very fast and at the age of ten he became interested in Chemistry. In 1859, he began to sell newspapers. On the train. Two years later he started a newspaper of his own. In 1868, he had his first invention.
