It was time for a break. All the kids were getting ready to go outside. Miss Miller told them the playground rules once again. "No jumping off the swings(秋千). No pushing..."
After reviewing the rules, the kids headed outside. Some kids played basketball. Some kids played games. Robbie and Jeff decided to play on swings.
"Watch me jump off," said Robbie.

"It seems that you have a broken leg," said Miss Miller. She told Jeff to go and get the school nurse Miss Tanner. Miss Tanner came out soon and checked Robbie's legs. Then she called the ambulance(救护车) to get Robbie to the hospital.
After that, it was time for the other kids to go back to the classroom. Miss Miller talked with them about the importance of following the playground rules. "I hope all of you have learned something from what happened to Robbie today," Miss Miller said. "Now, let's make some cards for Robbie to cheer him up. I'll take them to him after school and see how he is doing."
