Ⅲ.阅读理解。(35分)
A
If you have too many things to do and you feel tired and worried, you might feel better if you give something up. Sometimes lots of activities—even if they're all fun—can make you feel worried by keeping you busy all the time. On the other hand, if you have problems at home, in fact, some after-school activities may help you relax and feel better.
There are also relaxing exercises that you can use to keep stress away. The easiest one is to breathe in(吸气)slowly and deeply through your nose, and then exhale slowly through your mouth. Do this twice to four times. You can do breathing exercises at any time. You can even do breathing exercises when you're nervous before a test.
The best way to keep stress away is to have a balanced(平衡的)life. That means making good decisions about how to spend your time. If you are always busy with schoolwork and have no time to play, you can get tired. Make sure you take good care of yourself by getting enough sleep, having healthy food, doing more exercise and leaving time for fun.
If you do so, you'll probably be less worried!

One day in my sixth grade, I sat down with some boys from my class for lunch. But one boy said, “Go away. We don't like you.” I was so sad that I went to another table.
My parents had to send me to another school. The teachers and my parents encouraged me to make friends. I decided to have a try. On my first day, I didn't know where to wait for my mother to pick me up, so I followed some classmates. Then a boy named Greg asked, “Why is she following us?” He thought I was strange. I decided to prove him wrong by talking to him.
A few days later, I said to him in the P.E. class, “Were you on a soccer team before?” His eyes became bright. “Yes, I played soccer for a few years. However, I gave up because I didn't like it,” he answered.
Then we started talking about our hobbies, and I learned that Greg loved acting, singing and dancing. I told him that I loved music too and that I took dance classes every Sunday. I ended up eating lunch with him happily.
After that day, we sat together at lunchtime every day and he introduced(介绍)me to his friends. They became my friends, too. Luckily, I started a talk at first. Now I am no longer a shy girl. From this experience, I learn that if you want to make friends, why not talk to others first?
