Zebra crossings(斑马线)can tell drivers that someone may be trying to get across the road.A study reported that three out of four drivers kept the same speed as they were coming near a crossing.

streets in Tai zhou,China,so they decided to test if the 3-D zebra crossings would work in India.
It may seem that the 3-D zebra crossings could make the drivers brake.However,this is not true.
Because of the way the human eye works,the illusion is only seen from a distance(从远处).As the
drivers get closer,the painting looks like the normal zebra crossing.But since the driver is driving more
slowly,it is more possible for him to stop.
The artists hope that their smart paintings will become more and more popular in India and
perhaps even around the world.
