Ⅶ. 阅读表达。
阅读下面短文,简略回答问题。
Once upon a time, there was a salt seller. He used to carry the salt bag on his donkey(驴) to the market. Along the way, they had to cross a river.
One day, when they crossed the river, the donkey slipped(滑倒) and the salt bag fell into the water. The salt seller helped the donkey get out of the water. The donkey noticed that the bag became lighter — some of the salt dissolved(溶解) in water. The donkey was so happy.
The next day, as they crossed the river, the donkey slipped into the water on purpose(故意地). Like the day before, his bag soon became lighter. The excited donkey decided to keep using this trick.
However, the salt seller came to understand the trick and decided to teach the donkey a lesson. On the third day, he put a cotton(棉花) bag on the donkey. As they reached the river, the donkey once again played the same trick. What happened this time? When the donkey came out of the water, he noticed how heavy his bag was. He could hardly walk, but the salt seller made him carry on until they arrived at the market.
1. Where did the salt seller do business(生意)?
2. Why was the donkey happy on the first day?
3. What do the underlined words “this trick” in Paragraph 3 refer to?
4. How was the cotton bag after the donkey got out of water?
5. How do you like the salt seller?
