Oxford University and Harvard University are facing the same problem. In summer, bicycle paths of Oxford were full of tour buses, which were parked illegally (违章停车). The pavement (人行道) were full of Chinese tourists, especially Chinese kids.
“University tourism” is popular because of the long histories and unique cultures of these universities. More importantly, many parents hope their children will study harder after the tour and go into a top university in the future.
