Lily sits at the piano. She likes playing the piano, but she can't. Her elder sister Lucy comes over. "Can you play somewhere else? I need to play the piano now," Lucy says. She usually has a piano lesson on Saturdays.
"I want to have piano lessons too," Lily says. "But my teacher is too busy. She doesn't have time for new students," her sister says.
Lily watches how her sister's fingers move. The next day, Lily puts her fingers on the piano. Do-re-mi. Her sister comes and says, "I need to play the piano now." Lily sits beside her, watches and moves her fingers. She moves her fingers during dinner and in bed.
On the third day, Lily sits at the piano, sets her fingers on it and plays. Do-re-mi-fa-so! "Wow! You learn a lot," her sister says. "I really want to have piano lessons," Lily says.
"My piano teacher is too busy," her sister says. "But I'm not. I can help you." Then Lily sits at the piano. It is time for her first piano lesson.
