三、阅读下面短文,并用英语回答问题(请注意每小题后面的词数要求)。
At my primary school, I was one of the smartest kids there. I never studied, but always got nearly perfect scores on all my tests. I was a child genius(天才), at least in my mind. I was pretty sure that once I got to the seventh grade, everyone including my teachers would be amazed at my excellence.
But actually, they weren't. When I arrived at my new class, it seemed that there was always someone else who could do better than me. My grades got worse and I needed to study hard for my tests. I believed I wasn't talented.
Over the next two years, I had to work very hard in order to get what I expected. My grades were still very low but gradually improving. I worked really hard but was still never the best at everything.
But did I really have to be the best at everything? In fact, when I did badly in a test, my classmates would never laugh at me. I was being too hard on myself.
Finally, I learned that nobody could always be Number One, and it was normal to fail sometimes.

15. How were the writer's grades after he arrived at a new class? (不超过5个词)
