There are two trees. They live in a town. One's name is Jack. The other's name is Joe. They are good friends. But Jack is taller and stronger than Joe. Joe is trying its best to grow up. “Let's have a race from now on(从现在开始),” says Joe.
Spring comes, and the weather is warmer. Their flowers are blooming (开花). “You see. I have 300 flowers. I am nicer than you,” says Joe. Joe is happy, but Jack is worried.
Summer comes, and the sun is stronger. Their leaves turn green. “You see. I have 2,000 leaves. I'm bigger than you. You look smaller than me,” says Joe. Joe is happier, but Jack is angry.
Fall comes, and the sky is clearer. Some workers make a wall between Jack and Joe. It's taller than both of them. Joe feels lonely(孤独的). Jack feels lonely, too! They make a new wish. They are going to grow up as quickly as they can. They want to meet again.
Two years later, they are finally(终于) taller than the wall. They meet each other. They are happier than before!
