Saturday, August 22nd
Today was a special day. Mum was busy with her work, so Dad and I went to the countryside. We took our dog William with us. In the morning, the weather was sunny and hot. We visited the old houses in the mountain. They were built in 1921. They are much older than my grandpa. Then we rode horses. Dad’s horse ran faster than mine, because his horse was stronger and taller. We had great fun!
In the afternoon, the weather became windy. We went camping. Dad put up the tent carefully. Suddenly, I saw a snake near the tent. It had a small head and long teeth. “Oh, my!” I shouted. William saw the snake, too. As soon as he saw it, he jumped over the snake. William was hurt by the rock but the snake ran away. Poor William!
