A Good Hand at Housework

To raise the awareness of students' tidiness and family responsibility(不定式短语作状语)，an activity named “A Good Hand at Housework”(过去分词短语作定语)was held. In response to the activity sponsored by our school(过去分词短语作定语)，I carried out my housework plan last weekend，ranging from tidying up rooms to cooking meals(现在分词短语作定语).

Early in the morning，I removed unwanted items and cleaned the house until it was spotless(时间状语从句). At almost eleven，I prepared delicious lunch，fried rice，for which my parents praised me(非限制性定语从句). Tired as I was(倒装)，I felt so proud.

Through the involvement in the household chores，not only have I developed a sense of family responsibility(倒装)，but also I have fully understood that doing housework is of great meaning.

Should Children Be Paid to Do Housework?

There is no doubt that this picture has reminded me of a phenomenon that cannot be ignored any longer(there be 句型；定语从句)：A lot of children need to be paid to do housework.

From my point of view，children should not be misled to believe that everything always has a return(宾语从句). Instead，measures should be taken to encourage them to change their mind that housework itself can be the reward. Doing housework is not only a way to show their love to their families，but also helps them to become responsible persons in the future(固定句型).
