They can open and close very quickly. When the insect touches its leaves，they close quickly. Then the insect cannot get out. After the insects die，the plant eats it. Why do some plants eat meat? Most plants get what they need from the sun，the air and the ground. In some places，the ground is not rich，so some plants eat meat to get some nutrition(营养). I hope that the bigger plants don't have the same idea.
