一、阅读理解。
Liu Min first heard about World Theater Day from her parents when she was 6 years old. It falls on March 27th every year. It is to draw the attention of people all over the world to the dramatic(有关戏剧的)arts.
In fact, 15 - year - old Liu Min has been interested in Peking Opera since she was at primary school, because her parents are both Peking Opera performers. On this year's World Theater Day, her dad took her to watch a 3D Peking Opera film called Farewell My Concubine(《霸王别姬》).
The story is based on an event from 202 B.C. In that year, Xiang Yu and Liu Bang were fighting for the throne(王位). Later Xiang Yu found himself in a terrible situation. In fact, it was important for him and his army to find a way out...
Many moviegoers, including Liu Min, couldn't help sobbing when Yu Ji died. "It isn't simply the story itself that makes the movie a success, but the great actors and actresses who have played the roles," one of the moviegoers said.
From her dad, Liu Min learns more about the part of Yu Ji in Peking Opera. She was once played by one of the most famous Peking Opera performers, Mei Lanfang, who created Mei School(梅派). In this opera movie, Shi Yihong, an excellent actress from Shanghai Peking Opera Theater, played the role.
"Peking Opera films are different from traditional films. I hope to watch more," Liu Min writes in her diary.
