B
Jackson is a white dog. He likes to play and go on walks but he doesn’t like getting a bath (洗澡). Whenever he hears the water running in the tub (浴盆), he runs and hides behind the sofa or under the table. His owner, Jennifer, likes the dog. But there is a rule — Jackson must keep clean all the time.
One day, Jackson ran out the room when it was bath time. Jackson ran and ran until he found a big mud puddle (泥水坑), and he jumped right into the dirty water. He was happy in the mud. His white hair soon got brown and dirty. He went on his trip away from home, hoping to find other dogs to play with. But he didn’t find any dogs at the park or near the school where Jennifer always walks him at night.
After an hour of playing, Jackson got hungry and started to walk back to the house. At the same time, Jennifer couldn’t find Jackson and was worried. She looked everywhere near her house but couldn’t find him.
It was dinner time. Jennifer heard a bark (狗吠声). It was Jackson! Jennifer was angry about how dirty Jackson was. Before Jackson could eat his dinner, he had to take a bath. This time, he didn’t run or hide. Soon Jackson was clean, but he now wanted a good rest!
