Ⅱ.阅读理解
Alicia is interviewing two best friends, Lily and Tom, who have been friends since kindergarten.
Alicia: Lily, what's your favourite memory with Tom?
Lily: (smiling) Oh, there are so many! But I think my favourite is when we built our first treehouse. We spent hours collecting(收集) wood, nails and even a small swing. It was an amazing thing and we felt like we were on top of the world when we finally climbed up there.
Alicia: That sounds great fun! Tom, what about you? What's your favourite memory with Lily?
Tom: (laughing) I remember that treehouse, too! But my favourite memory is probably our sleepover on New Year's Eve last year. We stayed up all night counting down the seconds to midnight, eating pizza and playing our favourite video games. It was really special.
Alicia: That's really sweet. Now, Lily, what do you think makes a good friend?
Lily: For me, a good friend is someone who listens to you. They're always there to support you. Tom is all of those things and more.
Alicia: Tom, how do you feel about that? What is a good friend like?
Tom: I agree with Lily. A good friend should be someone you can be yourself with and they should be willing to help you out when you need help. Lily is always there for me and that's what makes her such a great friend.
Alicia: Lastly, Lily and Tom, ▲
Lily and Tom: We want to go on a road trip across the country! We've always talked about it—exploring new places, trying different foods and just enjoying each other's company(陪伴). It's been a dream of ours for a long time.
Alicia: I hope you can make it soon. Thank you both for sharing your stories today. It's been a pleasure interviewing you.
