My name is Kelsey. I'm a mother of a middle school student. Here's what my day is like.
6:00 a.m.: wake up (醒来)
I get out of bed, and make breakfast for my daughter, Missy.
6:30 a.m.—7:00 a.m.: take my daughter to school
My daughter always goes to school with me on foot. We enjoy it because we can chat (聊天) with each other on the way.
7:00 a.m.—11:00 a.m.: go back home and exercise
When I get home, I quickly make a cup of coffee. Then I do yoga for 50 minutes. I am glad to be in the Yoga Club. I feel good when I am done.
1:00 p.m.—4:00 p.m.: work from home
I'm an editor (编辑), and I don't need to go to my workplace every day. Sometimes I work from home. First, I write book reviews (评论). Then, I start to correct (纠正) the mistakes in some writers' books. If I am free, I usually read a really good book!
7:00 p.m.—9:00 p.m.: have dinner and take a shower
My favourite part of the day is making dinner. I enjoy cooking and my daughter loves the food I make. Then, I take a shower because it always helps me relax.
This is what my day is like—as busy as a bee. I always feel happy to be with my daughter and keep everything going. I hope you can enjoy your life like me.
