Why can’t we fly kites around wires?
There is a thunderstorm(雷雨) outside. Mr. Franklin is a scientist and he wants to prove lightning(闪电) is electricity(电).
First, he puts a piece of metal(金属) on the top of a kite. Second,he ties a key to the special string(线) of the kite. Finally,he goes out and starts to fly the kite. The kite gets hit by the lightning. The lightning runs along the string and makes terrible electric fire on the key!
Mr. Franklin is successful(成功的). Some of other scientists want to do the same experiment(实验) and get badly hurt. It’s very dangerous to fly our kite near electric wires,because we may get electric shock(冲击) and hurt ourselves. So just keep your kites off wires to watch out for your safety.
