November 21st is the World Hello Day. The day is full of smiles and greetings. On this day, all you have to do is say hello and give a good day greeting to ten people you meet! Of course they are family and friends, and they can be strangers (陌生人).
In China, people usually say “*Ni Hao*.” when they meet each other. And how do people say hello to each other in English-speaking countries? People often answer, “Good.” or “Not bad.” In America, to friends, they say, “What’s up?” Another popular (受欢迎的) greeting is “ ▲ ” But it is usually among boys. Girls may say, “Hey, girl.”
In the world, people use at least (至少) 2,796 languages to say hello to each other. People enjoy these greetings from their friends and family.
