Siberian tigers are one of the most beauti-ful animals in our eyes. Their orange and black stripes (条纹) make them look very cool. Tigers are good at running and jumping. They’re also good swimmers. They often go into the water to cool off or catch fish. Unlike some other animals, tigers usually sleep during the day and go out at night.

Long long ago, a kind villager saved a baby Siberian tiger near the village. He took it home and took good care of it. He named it “White Tiger”. As time went by, White Tiger grew up and became friends with the villagers. It helped them look for food and keep the village away from danger. This story shows the deep love between humans and animals.

During the Spring Festival, the old always buy kids some tiger hats or tiger shoes for best wishes. Tigers are a symbol of good luck. As you know, Binbin and Nini, two lovely tigers, were the mascots (吉祥物) of the 9th Asian Winter Games in 2025.
