The kind of music is also important. It should be soft and gentle. Even people with good memories learn and remember less if they listen to noisy, angry music.

If you have to pay full attention to something, background noise may be OK, but music hurts rather than helps.

The beats and the rhyming of G and P help children to remember the letters.
