Monkeys swing (摇荡) from tree to tree. Beautiful flowers grow right in front of you. Welcome to Hainan Tropical Rainforest National Park in the central-southern part (中南部) of Hainan!
It is about 4,269 square kilometers. It is very important because it is home to many plants and animals. There are over 4,000 kinds of plants, like the Hainan orchid, and 651 kinds of animals, like the Hainan gibbon and Eld's Deer. Many trees live for more than hundreds of years there. One of them even lives for 2,600 years.
Now people are working hard to protect this rainforest. They plant trees, use cameras to watch animals, and move some villages to other places to help the forest grow.
