(1)解:①-②,得$2x+2y=2$,即$x+y=1$,③,①-③×2024,得$x=-1$.把$x=-1$代入③,得$-1+y=1$,解得$y=2$.所以原方程组的解为$\left\{\begin{array}{l} x=-1,\\ y=2.\end{array}\right. $
(2)猜想:方程组$\left\{\begin{array}{l} (a+2)x+(a+1)y=a,\\ (b+2)x+(b+1)y=b\end{array}\right. (a≠b)$的解为$\left\{\begin{array}{l} x=-1,\\ y=2.\end{array}\right. $检验:把$x=-1,y$=2代入$(a+2)x+(a+1)y=a$,得左边=a,左边=右边;把$x=-1,y$=2代入$(b+2)x+(b+1)y=b$,得左边=b,左边=右边.
∴$\left\{\begin{array}{l} x=-1,\\ y=2\end{array}\right. $是方程组的解.
